NEIFA COSENZA

Neifa Cosenza is a California-based artist with a unique blend of experience in fashion, art, and home decor. As a Latina artist, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her work. Her current artistic journey is a manifestation of her deep belief that “Love Conquers All.”

In 2020, Neifa faced a life-altering challenge when she suffered a stroke due to COVID-19, limiting the use of her right hand. Undeterred, she turned to deep and meditative sessions, experimenting with abstraction and expressionist art styles. Inspired by artists such as Cy Twombly, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Robert Motherwell, and Joan Mitchell, Neifa found solace and creativity in her art.

Neifa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Cal State University, Fullerton (1997). Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in painting and design. Her artistic focus has been applied in various forms within the textile industry. However, Neifa has also embarked on a personal exploration, detaching herself from commercial constraints to delve into her inner being.

Spirituality and connection with God lie at the heart of Neifa’s work. She believes that her art allows her to discover “different dimensions of God’s love every day.” This unwavering love extends to all humankind without exceptions.

When asked about the meaning behind her art, Neifa eloquently states: “We all experience setbacks in our lives, but there is always an opportunity for a comeback. With grace, something might emerge—something better than anything we’ve experienced in the past.”
